The First Semester Exam Results are Finally Out! It’s time to reflect on the warnings and advice we've shared about university education. Now, you’ll understand the truth behind the saying, "As you lay your bed, so must you lie on it." Students who earned straight A's, don’t be tempted to relax—one of the most challenging aspects of life is sustaining success. Why? Because the effort required to stay successful is often greater than that needed to achieve success in the first place.

If you’ve received C's, don’t settle for mediocrity; getting close doesn’t hit the target, and it certainly won’t win you a gold medal. The fact that you have C's shows you’re capable of more, so put in the extra effort, and you’ll achieve your goals.

To students who are below average, don’t panic, but don’t be complacent either—remember, the world won’t end, and life will go on. Reflect on your past, acknowledge your mistakes, and move forward. You were born for greatness.

Another semester examination is underway—the formidable second semester, where “single-parent” grade points (GP) can become orphans, GP on lifelines may drop to zero, and some CGPAs might need life support. It’s okay to be distracted, but only a little; your primary focus as a student at FUHSI is your grades. Stay focused—wise words are sufficient for the wise.

For students who failed "Use of Library Course - GNS 113," you may register for it in the first semester of your 200 level. It’s compulsory to pass this course before you graduate, depending on the semester’s total unit requirements.

University education is like a relay race—you can’t start weak and expect to finish strong. You can’t achieve first-class grades in your final year alone; Rome wasn’t built in a day. The higher you climb, the tougher the courses, and the greater the responsibilities you’ll face. Give your best at every stage, and don’t procrastinate—tomorrow isn’t promised. Library is your safe haven; the librarians are your friends. Stay focused!
